Eva’s Signature Boudoir Experience
An empowering and supportive photographic experience that is all about celebrating change, aging with grace and deepening acceptance.
Your body is changing and it’s time to finally feel empowered by it.
Maybe you grew a baby and the body that did it doesn't look like the one before. You're so grateful for what your body is capable of, but you still catch yourself in the mirror and think of what you can do to change how you look.
Maybe you're moving through perimenopause and womanhood feels like it's shifting underneath you. You’ve just gotten used to your own rhythm, and now you feel like you’re learning about yourself all over again.
Maybe you’re starting to notice more wrinkles and creases in your face, but you have no interest in botox and filler, but nobody's shown you what the alternative actually looks like.
Or maybe you just don't feel desirable in the way you used to and you're not sure who you'd even say that to.
I’ve created The Haus of Eva for women like you, because…
No matter what age, weight, background or challenges we’re faced, we all deserve to deepen acceptance, treat ourselves with kindness and continue to fall in love with ourselves.
We’re indirectly told by society, that we need to act or look a certain way, at a certain age, and even though we rebel against it, it can still impact how we see, talk and treat ourselves.
I truly believe that if we were exposed to more experiences that are based off how we feel and less about how we look, that we would be able to neutralise our relationships with our body.
I know that from 10 years of documenting my body, that being able to see all of it’s different shapes and forms, in all of it’s seasons, especially the uncomfortable ones, has had a profound impact on not just how much I love myself on the good days, but on how much acceptance I can have on the bad ones.
What does the Experience entail?
Three hours at Hyde Melbourne Place.
One of the most beautifully designed hotels in Melbourne. Gorgeous ambient and natural lighting. A space that feels like a warm hug, whilst simultaneously feeling so sexy. You'll have the space to yourself and there is no rush. We have 3 hours together.
The first half hour, no camera.
We spend the first 30 minutes checking in with how you’re feeling and actually landing in the space. I'll take you through some embodiment practices to get you out of your head and into your body. And if you're nervous, we sit with the nerves, nothing gets skipped to ‘stay on schedule’.
Then we photograph.
Slowly and led by how you're feeling rather than working through a shot list. I'm in my lingerie alongside you too. We'll try things, some will feel right and some won't, but this is a space where you’re encouraged to play, be curious and try new things, all within your own comfort zone and boundaries.
A love letter to yourself, sealed in wax.
You'll write it before the experience wraps up. I hold onto it and will give it back to you at handover. This is such a special thing to read back on, in the months and years to follow.
Two weeks later, we sit down together.
We don’t do links in emails for your photos. This is an in-person handover at the beautiful Nevedya cafe in Upwey. Seeing yourself for the first time matters too much to do alone, so we go through them together and I'm there for whatever comes up.
You take home a keepsake box.
There is something so magic about seeing your photos printed out to hold. These, paired with your love letter in a gorgeous wooden keep sake box, is the sort of thing that you get to hold tightly to and treasure for the rest of your life.
What is Boudoir Photography?
Boudoir actually describes a private space for women where they could go if they wanted to withdraw and be alone. From a photography lens, this has become a popular way for women to get a confidence boost or to gift their husbands/partners on their wedding day with sexy photos. At the core, it’s about beauty, celebration and sensuality. Traditionally, there is a huge emphasis on receiving sexy photos, but we like to do things differently here.
How are your experiences so different?
My Boudoir Experiences are a direct reflection of my own journey I’ve gone on with self-portraiture over the last 10 years. I have been photographing women for 6 years now and I’ve noticed just how much care needs to go into it to ensure that each woman feels supported, empowered and on her own timeline. I focus on how you feel, rather than how you look, which in turn provides a more gentle, loving approach to being photographed. This is a full experience, with connection from the moment you enquire, to the month afterwards.
“If every Mother was able to gift this level of self love to themselves, I feel we would learn to love our bodies postpartum a lot easier”
“Such a beautiful reconnection to self, to a version that I thought no longer existed, since becoming a Mum”. My body looks different. It has stretch marks. It has rolls. It has giggles. All these parts that weren’t there before I was pregnant. But it’s reminder of like holy, this is what a woman’s body was built for.”

“It could change your life. I can just visualise my 60 year old self, looking back at myself. One day these photos will fall out and I’ll be be like OH MY GOD”
“You get to be cheeky and frisky with the support of you. Looking back at the photos, they’re beautiful. But in the moment now, I’m also having a lot of fun. And I know that I deserve that. I will be going home to my family after this, but I know that I will be returning with a full cup”.

Hi, I’m Sophie.
I grew up hating my body. As a teenage dancer, that never had the ballerina physique, I was constantly ripping apart, comparing myself and treating my body unfairly just because of it not looking a certain way. This carried through into my twenties, but it all began to slowly shift when one day I decided to turn the camera to my body and document myself. It wasn’t pretty. It was actually insanely uncomfortable. But that moment, has really shaped this journey I’ve been on.
I started photographing women in empowerment spaces in 2020, after my best friend at the time asked me to do a topless photoshoot for her. It terrified me, as this was a woman that had the ballerina body I so deeply craved when I was younger. That day really kickstarted these sessions, as more of my friends came forward and asked me to do one for them. I have learnt a lot about holding space for women in photographic experiences over the last 6 years, but one of the most profound things, was how much this has helped heal my own body image and insecurities.
I strongly believe that the more we allow ourselves to really, truly see ourselves, away from the filters and perfectly curated photos, the more we will begin to heal. And that effect I felt in my own life? I know that it’ll have the same ripple effects in every other woman’s life too. Together, we can collectively heal. But, we have to brave. And we have to get really curious.
