The Boudoir Experience
An intimate photographic, documentary style experience for the woman that is ready to connect into her sensuality, take up space and be celebrated for the wild, untamed and divine woman she is.
There’s a moment—right before I press the shutter—when something shifts.
The breath slows. The body softens. A new kind of presence takes over.
This is where we meet.
In the quiet between movements, in the way your fingertips trace over your skin, in the warmth of light spilling across your body. It’s not about how you look.
It’s about how you feel—inside this moment, inside yourself.
Welcome to Boudoir by Sophie.
You’ve found the right photographer if you...
❥ You want someone to guide you back into your body—to help you soften, ground, and feel deeply held throughout the experience.
❤︎ You’re not interested in a stiff client-photographer dynamic—you’re craving connection, conversation, and friendship.
❥ You value presence over perfection. You want someone who’s goofy and grounded, hype and humble, sensual and silly—who can hold the depth and dance in the lightness.
❥ You’ve never felt truly seen in photos—or you’re ready to see yourself in a new light.
❥ You don’t want to be sold a handful of edited images—you want the whole story, the full gallery, because this is more than a moment—it’s a milestone.
❥ You want a photographer who gets heartache, body image, sisterhood wounds, mental health and who can hold you through it all with tenderness, humour, and zero judgment.
❥ You want to be witnessed by someone who gets it—who knows the sacredness of being vulnerable in front of the lens and holds that with respect, reverence, and sisterhood.
❥ You want someone who will hype you up, pause with you, check in, and meet you exactly where you're at.
❥ You’re not here to “look sexy.” You’re here to feel something real—and have images that honour that.
Where you might be feeling stuck...
This experience is an invitation to step out of your head and into your body. To see yourself in a new light. To not just witness your beauty but feel it. Because confidence isn’t something you need to create—it’s something you already hold within you. This is about revealing it.
❤︎ You’ve never felt truly beautiful in a photograph before ❤︎
You’ve spent years being the one behind the camera, dismissing compliments, hiding in the background. You want to change that but it feels scary and uncomfortable.
❤︎ You’ve been feeling disconnected from yourself ❤︎
Your sensuality, your confidence, your body. You crave something deeper, something that reminds you of your own presence, but you’re not sure where to begin.
❤︎ You’ve admire other women, but not yourself ❤︎
You’ve always admired women who move through the world with ease, who’s Eem at home in their skin. You wonder what it would feel like to experience that level of comfort, to see yourself with the same softness and admiration.
❤︎ Gone through a breakup or a life transition ❤︎
Does the version of you in the mirror feel unfamiliar? You might be reclaiming yourself piece by piece and you want something tangible — something that marks this chapter, something that makes you feel alive again.
❤︎ You don’t need a reason ❤︎
Maybe you just want to feel. To take up space. To celebrate yourself. To let go of the idea that beauty needs to be for someone else. Because you are worthy. And it’s time to take those aligned actions.

Boudoir is not a performance.
It’s an unveiling.
A space where your sensuality is yours to define.
Maybe that looks like lace and bare skin.
Maybe it’s an oversized shirt and tangled sheets.
Maybe it’s nothing at all—just the feeling of being completely, unapologetically in your own body.
How K went from struggling to love all parts of her body, to feeling comfortable, confident and beautiful.
↓ THIS IS HER STORY ↓
I did a Boudoir Photoshoot with Sophie because I originally wanted to document the point in my life where I would be looking my absolute best and as a bonus share this with my fiancé as a pre-wedding gift.
However, life threw me an unexpected blessing and instead I was able to document a much more meaningful point in my life where I embrace the start of changes to my body because I found out I was expecting.
Prior to the photoshoot, I was struggling to be comfortable in my body and struggling to really love all parts of my body, however this feeling did not last long as Sophie has a gift for making you feel comfortable, confident and beautiful when you’re at your most vulnerable state.
I wanted to do this self love boudoir shoot because it was and may be the only thing I will truly do something for myself. I’ve always wanted to do one and it took time to find the right package for me as I wanted it to be a certain way where I am raw, natural and not manufactured like the other packages out there.
I’m just thankful that my friend has done this experience before and I had heard from her on how amazing the experience was with Sophie. So with that feedback and then looking at the examples of Instagram, I finally booked it.
It was an experience that exceeded my expectations as it was very moving and emotional. It was like I was saying you are beautiful and worthy of love. I was giving my past, present and future self a big hug.
The journey to love one’s self is never-ending and it can be so hard with what we are exposed to on a regular basis. However, I recommend that every woman that is on a journey to love themselves should definitely do this boudoir shoot experience with Sophie.
It will teach you to be comfortable with being your most vulnerable and allow you to start to love yourself whole heartedly and embrace all your unique curves, bumps, lumps and marks like your stretch marks.
It is an experience you wish you’d have done sooner rather than later, but rest assured you will not regret it once you decide to finally do it.

It’s time to reclaim your sensuality.
It’s time to see yourself as art.
It’s time to be documented.
It’s time to be celebrated.
It’s time to take up space.
It’s time for you to be,
all of you.
Maybe afterwards...
You’ll look at the images and pause—not because of how you look, but because of how you feel in them. Strong. Soft. Alive.
❤︎ You’ll catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror days later and see something different ❤︎
A glimmer of reverence. A deeper breath. A softness you forget you were allowed.
❤︎ You’ll walk differently ❤︎
Speak with more ease. Move through the world with a kind of embodied confidence that doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful.
❤︎ It will be come a personal ritual ❤︎
A reminder of what’s always been within you. You’ll come back to the photos not to critique but to remember. They’ll become a part of your deeper healing journey.
❤︎ You’ll surprise yourself ❤︎
Maybe you’ll cry. Maybe you’ll fall in love with the woman you’ve become or the one you’re still becoming.
Or maybe, just maybe, you’ll finally feel at home.
This isn’t about a photoshoot.
This is about the way you carry yourself, long after the camera’s been put down.

GET TO KNOW SOPHIE ❥ YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER ❥ MY WHY ❥
I don’t just hold the camera. I hold you.
This experience is intimate, sacred, and built on trust. Before we even begin, we land together. We breathe. We talk. We unravel. We meet each other, human to human—woman to woman.
Throughout the session, we pause when needed. We check in. We cry, we laugh, we let the silence speak when it needs to. I’m not here to pose you into someone you’re not—I’m here to guide you back to what’s already within. Your sensuality. Your power. Your softness. Your presence.
You will not be left wondering if you’re doing it right. You will not be asked to perform.
I’ll hype you the whole way through. I’ll remind you how damn magnetic you are. And yes— I’ll even be in my lingerie with you. Because this isn’t about hierarchy. It’s not about me behind the camera and you in front of it.
This is a sisterhood moment.
It’s not just a photoshoot—it’s an experience. A reclamation. A space to be witnessed without shame or pressure.
I’ve been holding this kind of space with women for five years now. Every time, I’m reminded of how healing it is to see and be seen like this.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most women who step into this space say the same thing at first. You don’t need to come in knowing how to pose or perform—I guide you gently and intuitively through the whole process. This isn’t about looking a certain way. It’s about feeling into your body and letting yourself be seen. The awkwardness always melts away once we drop in together.
-
Not at all. This is your space, your body, your energy. You might feel drawn to lace and silk… or an oversized shirt and nothing underneath. You can be fully nude, partially clothed, or wrapped in a blanket the whole time. There are no rules here. Only what feels true for you.
-
You are so welcome to. Tears are a natural part of the release that can happen when we soften into ourselves. We pause. We breathe. We let it come through. This is a safe, held space. You’ll never be rushed or pushed through anything. I’ll be right there with you, every step of the way.
-
Usually in the comfort of your own home—a familiar space where you already feel safe. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, you can book an Airbnb or a beautiful hotel to create a fresh, sensual environment. We’ll chat through location ideas during our pre-shoot call.
-
Yes, absolutely. If you're in a loving relationship and want this to be a shared experience, we can design the session to include your partner in a way that feels natural and connected. Still deeply guided. Still grounded in intention. Still all about the connection between you. Packages vary for couples intimacy experiences.
-
Then this space is especially for you. I’ve held women in all kinds of seasons—in the tender aftermath of breakups, in grief, in transition, in moments where identity feels cracked wide open. You don’t need to feel “healed” to step into this. This experience can be a turning point, a ceremony of reclamation. We move gently, with care. You are never too much or too broken to be photographed in your beauty.
-
After booking, you’ll receive a preparation guide to support you with outfit ideas, styling tips, and how to best nourish your body before the shoot. We’ll also have a phone or video call beforehand to ground in and set the tone, so you feel confident and supported.
-
No. Please don’t wait. This experience isn’t about “fixing” anything—it’s about meeting yourself exactly where you are. I’ve photographed women in every season: post-breakup, postpartum, in grief, in joy, in transition. Your body doesn’t need to change to be worthy of reverence. Let this be the moment you choose to love her now.
That said, we also know how easy it is as businesswomen to put ourselves last. So if your reason for not coming is that you’re prioritizing someone else’s needs or feel like you “just have too much work to do,” we lovingly invite you to pause and reconsider.
Maybe this retreat is exactly what you need.
-
Yes—absolutely. I never want money to be the thing that stops you from entering this space. Reach out and we can work something out that feels doable for you. Whether it’s splitting the payment into smaller parts or extending the timeline, I’ve got you.
-
I totally understand that life happens—and that sometimes what’s coming up internally can feel like too much to hold. Your booking fee is non-refundable, as it secures your date and honours the time and energetic preparation I pour into creating this space for you.
I don’t offer automatic reschedules, but I do invite open, honest communication. If something is shifting for you—emotionally, energetically, or otherwise—please reach out. Let’s talk about what’s coming up beneath the surface. Sometimes, it's resistance. Sometimes, it's divine timing asking for a pause. Either way, I’m here to meet you in that conversation with compassion and care.
This experience is a collaboration—and I want you to feel ready and held.
